PONDICHERRY, SEPT. 13. The Pradesh Congress Committee president and Member of Parliament, V. Narayanasamy, today called upon the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, to cooperate with the Centre in implementing development schemes in the State. Talking to newsmen here, Mr. Narayanasamy said MPs and Union Ministers from Tamil Nadu were keen to see the State progress. He said there was a need for providing special category status and statehood for Pondicherry.
