Lack of water: students boycott classes

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. Sept. 13. Students of the College of Engineering (CET) boycotted classes today in protest against the non-availability of water in the men's hostel at the college this morning.

The water supply to the men's hostel reportedly ceased just after 8 a.m. when the students were preparing to go to class. Later, water supply was restored to the hostel when the tanker lorries of the KWA were called in.
