Newspaper in Education Programme

KOZHIKODE, SEPT. 13. The Newspaper in Education Programme conducted by The Hindu was launched in Kozhikode today. Prism Books (P) Ltd, Bangalore, conducts classes for the students. The classes are based on themes that are useful for personal development of the students.

Prism Books (P) Ltd started this programme in Bangalore a few years ago. This year, it is being held in 11 more cities, including Kozhikode.

Schools that have enrolled for the programme in Kozhikode are Amrita Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, St. Josephs Boys Higher Secondary School, St. Michael's Girls Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School, East Hill, MESRR School, Pavangad, Auxilium Navajyothi Higher Secondary School, Kunnamangalam, MESRR School, Kettangal, Dayapuram Residential School, Kettangal, Hill Top Public School, Prestige Public School, NSS Higher Secondary School and Al-Farook Residential School, Farook College.
