NALGONDA, SEPT. 13. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Andhra Pradesh Ryothu Sangham have decided to lay siege to the Collectorate on September 15 asking the Government to take up four distributary works of the Srisailam Left Bank Canal on a war-footing. Speaking to reporters at the party headquarters here on Monday, the Ryothu Sangham district president and former MLA, Nandhyala Narasimha Reddy, said there was an urgent need of constructing the 37, 38, 39 and 40 distributaries that could provide water facility for 94,000 acres in Nalgonda division.
