Awareness camp

CHENNAI, SEPT. 13. As part of its project to create awareness among college students of the need to help children living with AIDS, the Department of Communication, Madras Christian College organised a one-day camp for HIV positive children in the city.

Fifty-eight children were taken to Mahabalipuram where the day was spent in playing games like `Just do it,' `pick and pack,' lemon and spoon race, frog jumping and T-shirt painting. The day ended with the screening of a movie `Spy Kids 3.'

The T-shirts painted by the children will be worn by the MCC students when they set out on a road trip to various city colleges seeking assistance for the children.
