HYDERABAD, SEPT. 13. A Division Bench of the High Court on Monday directed the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) to see to it that the conditions imposed by it while permitting the setting up of food courts on the Necklace Road are strictly complied with. The Bench, comprising Chief Justice Devinder Gupta and Justice C.V. Ramulu, was disposing of a writ petition filed by the Forum for a Better Hyderabad represented by Jeevananda Reddy, who complained that that the structures with non-biodegradable material ought not to have been permitted within 30 metres of the water edge.
