Murdered for a cinema ticket

By Our Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD, SEPT. 13. A fan of film star Pawan Kalyan lost his life today following a fight for tickets to watch `Gudumba Shankar', starring the actor, on the first day of its release.

The movie buff, identified as Satyanarayana (25), was allegedly beaten up by three persons following a brawl over tickets at Laxmi Kala theatre in Moosapet on Friday. He succumbed to his injuries at Gandhi Hospital on Monday.

The Sanathnagar police launched a hunt to nab the assailants after altering the assault case to that of murder. Satyanarayana, working at a video-library and resident of Bharatnagar colony, was an ardent fan of Pawan Kalyan.
