BANGALORE, SEPT. 13. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team investigating the stamp-paper racket cases on Monday filed a charge-sheet against two government doctors who had been arrested for their alleged connection in the racket. The CBI filed the charge-sheet against K.N. Chennakeshava and K.H. Jnanendrappa, both from Victoria Hospital, before the special court constituted to try the stamp-paper scam cases. The doctors have been charged with conspiracy and abetment to commit the offences. The doctors had allegedly taken a bribe of Rs. 5 lakhs and issued false medical certificates on June 6, 2002, and September 20, 2002, to Abdul Kareem Telgi, the prime accused.
