Award for K. K. Warrier

THRISSUR, SEPT. 14. Renowned mural artist K. K. Warrier has been selected for the prestigious Lalithakala Puraskaram of the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi this year, while C. N. Karunakaran, artist, and M.R.D. Dathan, sculptor, have been selected for the Akademi Fellowship. The Chairman of the Akademi, Kanayi Kunjiraman, said the three awards carry a cash prize of Rs. 25,000, a citation and a `ponnada' each.
