HYDERABAD, SEPT. 14. The PCTVT is a project of Raji Reddy of Carnegie Melon University partnering the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT, Hyderabad), and the Indian Institute of Technology (Chennai), with a Korean company set to manufacture them.
Wide interest
Participating in a discussion on "Simplifying eGovernance-It it possible?," organised jointly by Canon India, Adobe Systems, and StorageTek India here on Tuesday, Mr.Raghuveer said 25 companies had evinced interest in the proposed broadband project to be implemented under the public private partnership (PPP) policy. Some of the critical issues faced by e-governance programmes were connectivity, access devices and e-literacy, he said referring to hurdles.
