Kollam
By Our Staff Reporter
KOLLAM, SEPT. 14. The Kollam East Police today arrested two men on charges of being involved in a series of vehicle thefts in the district. The Circle Inspector, R. Raj Kumar, identified the arrested as Joshi (21) and Jimson (24). A Mahindra jeep and four motorcycles, allegedly stolen by the duo, have been recovered. Mr. Raj Kumar said that the two usually stole vehicles from parking lots at hospitals. They had also stolen cash and property from vehicles parked on the roadside. The jeep stolen a month ago was used by the duo under a fake registration number, KL2 K 1385, which was actually the registration number of an autorickshaw plying at Karunagapally. The two will be produced in court tomorrow.
