Jayalalithaa to meet Manmohan

CHENNAI, SEPT. 14. The Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, will leave for New Delhi on Wednesday to attend the Conference of Chief Ministers and Chief Justices of the High Courts to be held at Vigyan Bhavan on September 18.

During her visit, she will call on the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, and present a memorandum on issues relating to Tamil Nadu, which require his intervention and the support of the Centre, according to an official release. This is the first time she will be meeting Dr. Singh after he became Prime Minister in May.
