Parit clinches title

NEW DELHI, SEPT. 14. Parit Bhargava overcame a strong challenge from Guranshu Chopra to emerge a 15-11, 16-17, 15-8 winner in the under-16 boys' final in the Delhi State badminton championship at the Karnail Singh Stadium here.

The results (all finals): Boys: Under-16: Parit Bhargava bt Guranshu Chopra 15-11, 16-17, 15-8. Under-13: Bharat Bajaj bt Jatin 15-6, 15-4. Under-10: Shubhanshu bt Karan Narang 15-9, 15-4.

Girls: Under-19: Chitralekha bt Akansha 11-2, 11-1. Under-16: Meenakshi bt Akansha 11-7, 13-11. Under-13: Radhika Babbar bt Mohana Sharma 11-2, 11-3. Under-10: Shreya Suri bt Gauri Asija 11-0, 11-0.
