Ever-Ready ambushes Tollygunge Agragami

KOLKATA, SEPT. 14. Officers' Choice Ever-Ready comprehensively beat DTDC Tollygunge Agragami 3-0 in a `super-six' match of the Calcutta Football League Super Division here on Tuesday. In another match, Mohammedan Sporting beat George Telegraph 2-0.

Ever-Ready led 1-0 in the first half, with Eugene Gray scoring in the sixth minute. Jayanta Sen struck in the 57th minute while Earnest Jeremiah completed the tally in the 59th minute. Ever-Ready now has 29 points from 15 matches.

In the other match, Mohammedan Sporting realised its first super-six win, scoring once in each half. Amjad Hussain drew the first blood in the 35th minute while the second goal came from Abdul Rauf Khan in 80th minute.

Sporting now has 23 points and remains behind Agragami, which is fourth with 25 points.
