Raghavendra scores century

BANGALORE, SEPT. 14. D. Raghavendra of Vice President's XI compiled a century (102) to help his team tally five points from the drawn encounter against Shimoga XI in the KSCA Inter-Zonal (Under-19) tournament here on Tuesday.

Vice President's XI took a 15- run lead in the two-day match, which ended in a draw. Other batsmen to shine for Vice President's XI were K.B. Pawan (95) and Aditya Sagar (65).

The scores:

Shimoga XI 338 and 134 for three (Vishwas Rao 67 n.o.) drew with Vice President's XI 353 for six (D. Raghavendra 102, K.B. Pawan 95, Aditya Sagar 65).

President's XI 233 and 169 for nine (Tejas Trishul 48, Rohit Suresh 6 for 60) drew with Combined City XI 172 (S.P. Mahesh 80 n.o., Gaurav Dhiman 4 for 53, R. Jonathan 4 for 39).

Raichur Zone 243 drew with Mysore Zone 442 for nine (Sunil Kumar Jain 70, B.N. Bharath 147 n.o., N. Srinidhi 47, Karthick Raghavan 66, Pranesh Desai 4 for 110).

Bangalore City 165 and 92 for two drew with Bangalore Zone 234 (Arjun Munjha 61, Amith Verma 57, Raju Bhatkal four for 44, Moti Mahesh four for 71).

Mangalore Zone 254 and 109 for no loss (Prawal Shetty 75 n.o.) drew with Tumkur Zone 365 for seven (T.R. Harish 128, R Harsha 69, Vikram Chavadi 41).
