Participating in a `Charity Nite' in aid of the Siva Sakthi Homes-Kancheepuram recently, the Governor said senior citizens' homes would become more enjoyable if school children lived with them. There was an opportunity for them to share their love and wisdom with the children, and they could fill the role of grandparents for the children, he said.
