Appan Menon Award

NEW DELHI, SEPT. 14. This year's Appan Menon Memorial Award has gone to Luv Puri, the Staff Reporter of The Hindu in Jammu. Mr. Puri has been selected for the award for his articles and first-hand accounts on the Gujjar and Bakarwal communities of Jammu and Kashmir.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh.
