Post offices to sell UTI mutual fund products

CHENNAI, SEPT. 14. The Department of Posts has entered into a partnership with the UTI Asset Management Company for retailing mutual funds products of the company through post office in 50 identified locations across the country as a pilot project for six months.

In Tamil Nadu Circle, Chennai GPO, Anna Road, Coimbatore, Madurai and Tiruchi have been identified. Qualified officials will retail the UTI mutual fund products across the counters at the post offices.

The sale will commence from September 15, says a release from the Chief Postmaster-General, Tamil Nadu Circle, Chennai.
