Lottery agency raided

KOCHI, SEPT. 14. A lottery agency in the city was raided and sealed as part of the ongoing drive against fake lotteries. Pavana Lottery Agencies, Benedict Road, was raided and lottery tickets worth Rs. 1.2 crores were confiscated. The raid was conducted following instructions from the District Lottery Officer.

Man found dead

Unni (40), Valathparambil Veedu, Vaymeri, Thripunithura, was found dead near the railway overbridge along the Muvattupuzha route. The body was found at 12 noon today and was taken to the Alappuzha Medical College for post-mortem.
