Human chain

COIMBATORE, SEPT.14. The Human Rights Wing of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee today staged a human chain and a demonstration at Gandhipuram bus stand in protest against the "fascist political ideologies" of the Bharatiya Janata Party and for stalling Parliament proceedings. The demonstrators led by the State president of the wing, S.S. Manian and the district president, N.M. Anandarajan also raised slogans flaying the State Government for its administrative failure and for having failed to seek adequate drought relief from the Centre.
