Demand for houses
HYDERABAD,
SEPT. 15.
The Minister for Revenue, Dharmana Prasada Rao, has said the State Government will take up construction of weaker sections houses in rural and urban areas in a phased manner.
The Revenue Minister gave this assurance to the Andhra Pradesh BC Welfare Association, which staged a demonstration at the Lake View Guest House, the official residence of the Chief Minister, here on Wednesday. The Revenue Minister addressed the agitators in the absence of the Chief Minister who is away in New Delhi. He said as per the poll manifesto, the Congress decided to take up weaker sections housing programme in a phased manner.
