HYDERABAD, SEPT. 15. Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) defeated Friends Hockey Club 6-1 in the Rajiv Gandhi memorial hockey championship here on Wednesday. At half time MSC led 4-0. Abdul Qudus (2), Farooq bin Yousuf, Aziz bin Abdullah, Abdul Amjad and Karimuddin scored for MSC, while Sandeep Kumar reduced the margin for Friends Hockey Club. In the second match of the day, AC Guards XI defeated Rainbow HC 7-0. Shaik Amer (3), Ismail Khan, Abdul Rehman, Ali bin Abu and Sajid scored for AC Guards XI.
