Double for Sathya Priya

MADURAI, SEPT.15. Sathya Priya of M.S.S. Wakf Board College scored a golden double in women's section by winning shotput and discus in the SDAT inter-collegiate athletics meet here on Wednesday.

The results (All winners): Men: 100m: Karthik (MSSWB); 400m: P.Ayyappan (MSSWB); 1500m: Kathiresan (Yadava College); Long jump: S.Venkatesan (MSSWB); Shotput: Gnanavel (PMT College, Usilampatti); Discus: M.Anand (MSSWB).

Women: 100m: Asta Lakshmi (Lady Doak College); 400m: Devi (LDC); 800m: C.Easwari (Sri Meenakshi Govt. College); Long jump: Kayalvizhi (PKN College, Thirumangalam); Shotput: Sathya Priya (MSSWB); Discus: Sathya Priya.
