BANGALORE, SEPT. 15. The 23rd Additional Session Judge, P. Krishna Bhat, has imposed a fine for filing a false complaint against a former police sub-inspector. The complaint was filed by B. Ravi Charles against M.A. Hussain, former PSI in the Yelahanka New Town police station. Charles had charged Hussain with demanding Rs. 300 for closing a criminal case against him. During the trial, Charles went back on his complaint. While acquitting Hussain on September 2, the Judge imposed a fine of Rs. 1 lakh on Ravi Charles for filing a false complaint and falsely deposing before the court.
