1.65 lakhs stolen
from vehicle
A businessman, Ramakrishna Goud of Bowenpally, lost Rs. 1.65 lakhs in cash when unidentified persons took away cash bag from his motorcycle's side box on Wednesday.
The victim withdrew cash from Punjab National Bank, S.R. Nagar branch, and was on his way to office. He found the money stolen after halting the bike in front of the traffic signal post at Erragadda.
Garments stolen
Readymade garments worth Rs. 45,000 were stolen from a clotheshop located on Road No. 1 of Banjara Hills on Monday night.
Bracelet snatched
Two motorcycle-borne youngsters snatched away a five tola gold bracelet from a scooterist after following him on Tuesday midnight. A businessman, Rakesh Agarwal of Bazarghat, along with his friend, was passing by Himayathnagar `Y' junction when the snatchers struck.
