AKCE retains title
KOVILPATTI,
SEPT. 16.
Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering (AKCE), Krishnan Kovil retained the title defeating St. Xaviers Catholic College, Nagercoil 5-3 via tie-breaker in the final of the Anna University zone 10 inter-Engineering College football tournament here on Wednesday.
At the end of regulation time the teams were locked goalless.
In the third place match, host National Engineering College beat Government Engineering College, Tirunelveli by a solitary goal scored by Joy.
