Christ College clinches title

BANGALORE, SEPT 16. Christ College clinched the Bangalore University basketball title with an all win record in the four team league. Winning 28-25 against St. Joseph Arts and Science and 52-39 against CMRIS earlier, Christ squared off against Kristu Jayanti in the final league encounter and triumphed 45-37 for the title.

Kristu Jayanti with two wins and a loss and St. Joseph Arts & Science with its 28-23 win over CMRIS, finished behind Christ College. CMRIS which lost all its matches however had the satisfaction in its player— Belgin— being adjudged as the best player of the tournament.
