Nizamabad
By Our Staff Reporter
NIZAMABAD, SEPT. 16. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi Secretary, J. Bapu Reddy, has condemned the attack on the TRS chief, K. Chandrasekhar Rao's office in Karimnagar by Congress activists and described it as "politically motivated." Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he requested Congress functionaries to maintain restraint and not incite their workers. Criticising the Government for not celebrating Telangana Liberation Day officially, he said his party would celebrate it "in a big way" on Friday by hoisting national flags in the district headquarters and all mandals. He asked why the Government was unwilling to celebrate the day when "stalwarts like Komaram Bheem and Swami Ramananda Tirta had laid down their lives to liberate Telangana from Nizam rule."
