VISAKHAPATNAM, SEPT. 16 . Wednesday's trough of low pressure over coastal Andhra Pradesh and the neighbourhood persists, according to the Cyclone Warning Centre here on Thursday. Under its influence, rain or thundershowers are likely at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 36 hours. Chief amounts of rainfall recorded over coastal Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours at 8.30 a.m. on Thursday: Nuzvid, Rajahmundry, Anakapalle and Kaikaluru - 2 cms each and Paleru Bridge and Kakinada - 1 cm each.
