St.Anns College for Women wins

HYDERABAD, SEPT. 17 St.Anns College for Women (Mehdipatnam) defeated Government College of Physical Education (GCPE) 40-25 in the final of the Osmania University inter-college basketball tournament for women here.

For St.Anns, its captain Tarangini Goud and Sita played well scoring 13 points each. The top scorer for GCPE was Supriya with nine points. Earlier in the semi finals St.Anns beat OU Women's college 40-15 while GCPE defeated Kasturba Gandhi women's college 32-28.
