Kannur posts win

THALASSERY, SEPT. 16. Host Kannur beat Malappuram by 22 runs in the North Zone (under-19) inter-district cricket championship at the Municipal Stadium here on Friday.

The scores:

Kannur 184 in 44.4 overs (Krishnadas 41, Shibil six for 40) bt Malappuram 162 in 41 overs (Hareesh 31, Mazhar Moidu six for 29).
