Big win for Kozhikode
KOZHIKODE,
SEPT. 17.
Host Kozhikode and Kannur posted contrasting wins in the North Zone (under-15) inter-district cricket championship at the Medical College Ground here on Friday.
The scores: Kozhikode 206 for three in 43 overs (N.K. Arjun 72, Rajilesh 34) bt Malappuram 88 in 32 overs (Namith three for seven, Yassin Johar three for 11).
Kannur 221 for nine in 45 overs (Safwan 57, Arun three for 40) bt Kasaragod 207 in 43.4 overs (Nishanth 41, Anfal 34, Naseef four for 76, Shahzeem four for 34).
