ANANTAPUR, SEPT. 17. Three farm workers were killed and three others were injured when the bullock-cart on which they were travelling was hit by a lorry from behind at Singanagutta village in Atmakur mandal on Friday. The injured were rushed to the General Hospital here. According to the police, six farm workers were returning home to Atmakur in the bullock-cart when a lorry on its way to Anantapur hit the cart from behind killing M. Vannurappa (25), M. Basamma (50) and M. Hanumakka (52) on the spot. Eeswaramma, M. Laxmamma and B. Laxmamma were injured in the accident.
