MYSORE, SEPT. 19. The Bihar Governor, Rama Jois, today lamented that the values of the society had eroded causing concern, and that it had also affected human relationships. Mr. Jois was speaking here at a function organised by the Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) to release the Kannada version of `Dharma-A Global Ethic.' Mr. Jois said that religion divided the society whereas dharma united people. Stating that the two terminologies were different, he said that dharma was a set of norms practised by any country, and this dharma strengthened values. Urging the authorities concerned to introduce dharma in school syllabus, he said that politicians should follow "raj dharma" that included the protection of good from the evil. The country could be free from corruption when "raj dharma" is followed, he added. The book was released by Sri Ganapathi Sachidananda Swami.
