TUMKUR, SEPT. 19. Two persons were killed on the spot when a motorcycle they were riding was hit by a lorry on National Highway 48 at Mallaghatta point in Kunigal taluk of the district on Sunday. The police said Purushotham (40) and Ramesh (30) of Pandavapura in Mandya district were going to Yenteganahalli when the lorry hit their motorcycle. The police said the lorry driver was absconding.
