TIRUPATI, SEPT. 19. The district Mines and Geology Department plans a field visit to mining zones in the district between September 29 and October 8 to lend an ear to the public. A panel, formed by the department, met recently at the RDO's office here and identified six stretches of Durgasamudram-C. Ramapuram, Tirumanyam-Appalagunta- Kammapalle, Parameswara Mangalam- Gundrajukuppam-Nagari, Chandragiri-Reddivaripalle-Agarala-Kotala, Thottambedu-Thangellapalem- Challamambapuram and Thenebanda-Badigapalle in the district as blocks fit for mining.
