By Our Staff Reporter

TIRUMALA, SEPT. 19. On the fourth day of the annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara today, the processional deities of Lord Malayappa Swamy along with his two divine consorts were taken around the Hill temple on `Kalpa Vriksha Vahanam.'

Thousands of devotees thronged the mada street, through which the procession passed by, as it is believed that those who witness this festival will have their wishes fulfilled. Later, rituals like `Snapana Thirumanjanam' was conducted inside the temple.

The sacred garlands of Goddess Andal from Srivilliputtur, Tamil Nadu, reached the temple this evening. The temple authorities accorded a ceremonial reception to the sacred garlands at the pedda jeer mutt. The garlands will be put on the main deity on Monday on the eve of the Garuda seva. The temple authorities said more than 41,000 devotees had the darshan of Lord on Saturday.
