PATHANAMTHITTA, SEPT. 19. Justice K. Padmanabhan Nair of the Kerala High Court has said that the local self-governments have to play a key role in making the State litigation-free. Mr. Nair was inaugurating the third legal-aid clinic in the district, jointly being set up by the Elanthoor Block Panchayat and the Kozhencherry Taluk Legal Services Committee, at Elanthoor near here on Saturday. According to him, the Constitution ensures justice to all and the Legal Services Authorities have been formed with a view to ensure necessary legal assistance to all. Mr Nair said that the Legal Services Authority has been trying to spread legal awareness among the common people, besides providing legal aid to them.
