Kozhikode bags title

THALASSERY, SEPT. 19. Kozhikode won the North Zone (under-19) inter-district cricket championship, beating host Kannur by 62 runs at the Municipal Stadium here on Sunday. It scored four wins from as many games.

The scores: Kozhikode 230 for eight in 43 overs (Simnaj Hasan 67, Mazar Moidu four for 42) bt Kannur 168 in 39 overs (Fahad five for 43).
