Malappuram in final
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
SEPT. 19.
Malappuram will meet Pathanamthitta in the final of the State women's cricket tournament. In the semifinals at the Vellayani Agriculture College ground, Malappuram thrashed host Thiruvananthapuram by eight wickets while Pathanamthitta defeated Kollam by 28 runs.
The scores: Thiruvananthapuram 64 in 17 overs lost to Malappuram 65 for two in 9.1 overs.
Pathanamthitta 150 for six in 25 overs (Amrita 64) bt Palakkad 122 all out in 22.3 overs (Vilasini 60).
