Air Force School beats Rabbani HS

NEW DELHI, SEPT. 19. The Air Force School, Subroto Park, beat Rabbani High School, Nagpur, 3-1 in a Group VIII league match of the junior section in the Subroto Cup football tournament at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Sunday.

T. Chaudhary, Manish Negi and Manish Thapa struck for the Delhi team, and Mohammed Ilyas scored for the loser.

In the sub-junior section, Air Force Bal Bharati School beat Loyola High School, Margao, 7-0. Ansal Katiya (3), Raju Thapa (2), Abhishek Tandon and Pankaj Negi scored teh goals.

In another match, Gyanodaya Bal Batika Secondary Boarding School, Nepal, beat Sonari Bhagwati Prasad Memorial Higher Secondary School, Sonari, Assam, 5-0. Ranjit Shreshta (2), Bharat Khawas, Roshan Karki and Ganesh Khadhka scored the goals.

Shah Satnamji Boys School, Sirsa, recorded a 3-2 triumph over NCC, Goa. St. Inez, Panaji. Vinay (2) and Vijay found the target for the winner, while Peter scored two goals to make a fight of it for the Panaji team.
