MANGALORE, SEPT 19. Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District Women's Cooperative Bank Ltd., Mangalore, will hold its decennial celebrations on September 20. Sarala B. Kanchan, president of the bank, told presspersons here that the Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation, Oscar Fernandes, would inaugurate the celebrations at Molahalli Shivarao Memorial Meeting Hall at Kodiyalabail. Ms. Kanchan said the bank was adjudged the fifth best women's cooperative bank in the State in 2001 by the Karnataka State Cooperative Federation. She said G.T. Deve Gowda, president of the Karnataka State Cooperative Federation, would participate in the celebrations.
