HYDERABAD, SEPT. 19. The first training camp for Hajis organised by the State Haj Committee on Sunday evoked good response. Hundreds of prospective Hajis, both men and women, thronged the Hi-Tec Garden function hall in Old Malakpet where the canons of Haj and its connected traditions were explained. A step-by-step demonstration on performance of rituals was also given. The Minister for Minorities Welfare, Mohd. Fareeduddin, inaugurated the camp. Mohd. Ghouse Mohiuddin, chairman, State Haj Committee, presided. Ulemas -- Hafiz Badruddin and Khawja Mohiuddin -- explained in detail the various rituals connected with the five-day Haj.
