Temperature
MADURAI, SEPT. 20. The city today registered a maximum temperature of 32.1 degree Celsius and a minimum of 22.7 degree Celsius. The Madurai airport received 31.4 mm of rainfall.
Water level
The plains received good rain, but not the catchments. Madurai recorded a maximum rainfall of 36.4 mm in the region, followed by Sothuparai dam 21, Kallandiri 17.3, Viraghanur dam 7.3, Sathaiyar dam 6.2 and Periyar dam 2 mm.
Coaching
for exams
The Principal, M. Arunagiri, said in a statement that the students were selected from the first year undergraduate courses, and the coaching would be oriented to communication skills in English. The college is also conducting inter-collegiate students' seminars. A journal, `Tejas', that contained the research papers, was released.
Power shutdown
