BANGALORE, SEPT. 20. Students of the Government Girls Pre-University College on Vani Vilas Road have appealed to the Mayor, P.R. Ramesh, to ensure that the college surroundings are kept clean and green. Led by their Assistant Principal, G. Bhamamani, the students met the Mayor recently and complained that people relieved themselves near the College compound wall and polluted the atmosphere. "The stench is unbearable and causing health problems," they said.
