By Our Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI, SEPT. 20. Two persons have been arrested by the South-West Delhi police for allegedly robbing a man of his Indica car at Najafgarh in South-West Delhi this past Sunday midnight.

According to the police, the car, being driven by Sarvan, was coming from Bahadurgarh in Haryana and going towards Najafgarh. Around 12-30 a.m., when the car reached near Jharonda village, two young men stopped it. They then entered the vehicle and forced Sarvan to drive for some distance. Then they threw him out and sped away.

Sarvan raised an alarm which alerted an Assistant Sub-Inspector Roop Chand and Constable Satish Kumar of Najafgarh police station. They were returning after attending a call. They gave chase to the car with the help of a Police Control Room van and intercepted it.

Those arrested have been identified as Rakesh, a resident of Jhajjar, and Anil, a resident of Bahadurgarh. Rakesh has seven criminal cases registered against him.

A case has been registered at the Najafgarh police station and further investigations are on.
