Meeting on Oncology

JAIPUR,
SEPT. 21.
The new challenges emerging in the field of oncology and various modifications needed in surgical oncology will be discussed at a national conference of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology beginning here on September 24. An international symposium on "Advances in oncology'' will also be organised on the occasion.
The three-day conference, likely to be attended by 500 experts from all over the country, is being organised jointly by the Department of Surgery in Sawai Man Singh Hospital here and the Rajasthan Cancer Society.
The head of the Surgery Department and organising chairperson, J.M. Mehta, said here today that the meet would enhance the transfer of technology and experiences of leading experts to the younger generation of surgical oncologists.
