CIL beats BEL
BANGALORE,
SEPT. 21.
CIL defeated BEL 2-0 in a George Hoover Super Division league match at the Football Stadium here on Tuesday. For CIL Thomas (62nd minute) and later Ravindran (87th minute) scored.
Thomas' crisp shot was essayed after Krishna Kumar headed down a Hyder Ali Khan cross that hoodwinked the BEL defence. Later CIL relished a penalty as BEL's Pele Mohan handled the ball and referee Mushtaq Pasha showed the spot and Ravindran converted with ease.
Earlier the `A' division match between AGORC and 515 Army Base Work Shop concluded in a goalless draw.
