Film industry seeks people's help in curbing piracy

HYDERABAD
SEPT. 21.
The film industry has appealed to people seeking their cooperation in curbing piracy, which was robbing the industry of revenue of over Rs. 200 crores, and help those dependent on it.
Industry representatives spoke to the media after returning from Warangal on Monday evening. Earlier in the day, actor Mahesh Babu and three others surrendered in court and were granted bail.
They were accused of the kidnap of a proprietor of a video mixing unit, Srinath, and damage to property.
