Regularise service: teachers

CHENNAI,
SEPT. 21.
Dozens of teachers employed in government schools on consolidated pay, handling computer science subject, today staged a demonstration at the junction of Nungambakkam High Road-Village Road, demanding regularisation of service.
The teachers were taken into custody for staging the demonstration. They were detained in a marriage hall at Nungambakkam and later released.
After the release they again staged a demonstration in the night.
